If you want to see Mount Fuji beautifully, I think it’s best to view it from Shizuoka or Yamanashi Prefecture.

The Nippondaira Hotel in Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture, is one of the places where you can see Mount Fuji, and it offers a particularly artistic view.I was born in Shizuoka Prefecture, and I would say that the Nippondaira Hotel is one of the hotels that Shizuoka Prefecture can be proud of.

It’s my favorite hotel, and my wife and I often go there for lunch on our birthdays, or occasionally dress up and go for coffee.

The greenery in the garden is also lush and vibrant, it’s really beautiful. However, during the winter months, the color of the grass tends to dull, so you can only enjoy the vivid green color during spring and summer.

You can enjoy lunch buffets and coffee while enjoying the beautiful views.(However, it’s crowded on weekends, so if possible, weekdays are recommended.)

Here is the coffee and salted caramel cake I had for my birthday recently. The cakes at this hotel are all delicious.

Oh, I forgot to mention, staying overnight and enjoying the view is also recommended.

Nippondaira Hotel is located at the mountaintop, so you’ll need a car to get there. The best option is to take the free shuttle bus from the south exit of JR Shizuoka Station. (Buses run once per hour)
